Fresh Meat actress Charlotte Ritchie and Tom Stourton (Live At The Electric) have been cast in the lead roles of upcoming BBC Three comedy, Siblings, from the makers of The Inbetweeners, Bwark Productions.

Written by Keith Akushie (Fresh Meat), the series follows Charlotte and Tom as the world’s worst brother and sister, Hannah and Dan; a pair of obnoxious, lazy, self-centred, underachieving, incompetent and occasionally depraved siblings who cause chaos and disaster wherever they go.

Executive Producer, Simon Wilson, said: “We couldn’t have wished for two more brilliantly gifted comic performers than Charlotte and Tom to bring Keith Akushie’s hilarious creations to life.”

BBC commissioning executive, Chris Sussman, added: “The cast are brilliant. The scripts are very funny. The director is great. All we can do now is try not to mess it all up.”

Stella Gonet, Tracy-Ann Oberman, Emer Kenny, Steve Brody, John Dagleish and James Lance will also guest star in the scripted comedy series.

Dan Zeff will Direct with Phil Gilbert producing.

Siblings is currently shooting in West London to transmit in Spring 2014 on BBC Three.
