The BBC has unveiled a second trailer for the Doctor Who 50th Special episode, following the teaser and first trailer released over the last couple of days.

The 75-minute special, titled: ‘The Day Of The Doctor’, will see David Tennant and Billie Piper reprise their roles with current Doctor, Matt Smith and companion Clara (Jenna Coleman). John Hurt also stars as a third incarnation of the Doctor.

In 2013, something terrible is awakening in London’s National Gallery; in 1562, a murderous plot is afoot in Elizabethan England; and somewhere in space an ancient battle reaches its devastating conclusion.

All of reality is at stake as the Doctor’s own dangerous past comes back to haunt him.

The characters will once again be faced with some of the Doctor’s foes from over the 50 years, including, the Daleks and The Zygons.

The Day Of The Doctor airs on BBC One on Saturday, 23 November 23 at 7.50pm and will be simulcast globally and screened in cinemas worldwide.
