Jemma Redgrave’s Kate Stewart returns to ‘Doctor Who’

The BBC has officially announced Jemma Redgrave will be reprising her role as Kate Stewart in the ‘Doctor Who’ 50th Anniversary special.

Redgrave previously appeared in 2012’s The Power of Three playing Kate Stewart, daughter of the legendary Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart. Pictures of Redgrave filming for the episode have recently appeared on social networking sites.

Also joining Matt Smith and Jenna-Louise Coleman for the episode will be David Tennant and Billie Piper plus screen legend John Hurt and Joanna Page.

Filming of the ‘Doctor Who’ 50th special is currently underway which will be a 3D spectacular shown on BBC One in November.
