Bennet and Darcy to return in, ‘Death Comes To Pemberley’

The BBC has commissioned a 3 x 60 serial, ‘Death Comes To Pemberley‘ an adaption from P.D James’ international bestselling novel in this 200th anniversary year of the first publication of ‘Pride & Prejudice.’

The suspenseful murder mystery plot will be set six years after ‘Pride & Prejudice‘ ends, and centres on Austen’s best-known characters, Elizabeth Bennet and Mr Darcy.

The classic period drama will be written by Juliette Towhidi (Calendar Girls) and made by Origin Pictures for BBC One. Executive producers for Origin Pictures are David Thompson and Ed Rubin. The executive producer for the BBC is Polly Hill.
