A new video and poster has been released to promote the production of the third and final season of, Spartacus: War of the Damned. The video includes footage of the cast, crew and executive producers.

Series creator/executive producer Steven S. DeKnight who has already written the finale, discussed earlier in the year the decision to end the series: “It was an extremely difficult and emotional decision for my partners and I. Yet, in the end, the story was best served by rolling all of the remaining action and drama of Spartacus’ journey into one stunningly epic season that will be extremely satisfying for everyone who’s been along for the ride.”

‘Spartacus: War of the Damned’ will begin its new 10-episode season starring, Liam McIntyre in the title role, January 2013 on Starz in the US. The UK airdate is yet to be announced. Seasons one and two aired on Sky One.
