Zuleikha Robinson joins the cast of ‘Homeland’
We reported last month about the news of new cast members joining Homeland season 2, and today we can reveal the identity of one of the cast members as Zuleikha Robinson.
The actress best known for her roles in Lost and Rome is set to appear in a recurring role alongside its star Damian Lewis who plays ex-Marine Brody a turned prisoner of war returned to the US and his family as a hero. The show also stars Claire Danes.
Zuleikha Robinson in the upcoming second season will play a Middle Eastern woman called Roya Hammad, who is a field journalist with a special relationship to Abu Nazir (Navid Negahban) who delivers an ultimatum to Brody (Damian Lewis), Deadline reports.
Channel 4 recently announced it has signed the rights to air Homeland season 2, although the airdate is still to be confirmed – however it will be some time after the US airdate which has been announced by cable channel Showtime to premiere on 30 September 2012.
