Here’s a very short teaser trailer (and by short I mean a blink and you’ll miss it glimpse) of BBC America’s first original drama COPPER showing us Tom Weston-Jones in his role as Kevin Corcoran.

From Emmy-winner Tom Fontana, Academy Award-nominee Will Rokos, Academy Award-winner Barry Levinson and Christina Wayne (a former AMC executive for Mad Men).

Set in 1860s New York City, the 10-part drama centers on Kevin Corcoran played by Spooks/MI5 actor Tom Weston-Jones an intense, rugged Irish immigrant cop working the city’s notorious Five Points and up to the contrasting worlds of elegant Fifth Avenue and an emerging African-American community in rural northern Manhattan.

Kevin Ryan also stars as Kevin Corcoran’s detective partner.

BBC America and Cineflix Studios, will premiere “Copper” August 19 at 9pm.
