The Voice UK

The blind auditions continue, as the coaches – Jessie J, will.i.am, Danny O’Donoghue and Sir Tom Jones – continue the search to find the UK’s next great voice.

During the blind auditions, coaches are seated in chairs facing away from the stage. They hear the artists perform but don’t get to see them.

If a coach is impressed by an artist’s voice alone, he/she pushes a button on the chair to select the artist, at which point the chair rotates so the coach can see the performer. If more than one coach turns, the power shifts to the artist, who then has the choice of which of the coaches’ teams he or she wants to join.

However, if no coach turns, the artist is out of the competition. Once the coaches have each chosen the 10 singers, they will personally train their selections, shaping them into future stars.
