Channel 5 to Air Fairytale Drama “Once Upon A Time”

Channel 5 has announced it will air the popular US fairytale drama, “Once Upon A Time.”

The drama stars Robert Carlysle and Jennifer Morrison, with Lana Parrilla, Josh Dallas, Jamie Dornan. Big Love’s Ginnifer Goodwin and Mad Men actor Jared Gilmore also appears amongst the cast. The story focuses on fairytale characters trapped in the real world of a small town, oblivious to their true identity.

Head of acquisitions for Channel 5, Paul Fagan said: “There’s no living happily ever after here – these are fairytales as you’ve never seen them before.

“Once Upon A Time is a magical and mysterious addition to our 2012 schedule on Channel 5.”

Channel 5 will show a 60 second clip leading into the final of Celebrity Big Brother.

Once Upon A Time will air in the spring on Channel 5.
